A dog driven sport !!

My goal in life is to be the sort of person my dog thinks I am.

For all your dog-related sports from mushing to ski-joring , we'll provide the gear you will need. We make everything to be tough, because its no fun when a piece of gear doesn't work at -40. Also remember, if you are out at -40 and colder, it can be very hard on your canine athletes who are working very hard on your behalf. Take care of your dogs and they will take care of you.

Ski-Jor Belts There are three different styles of Ski-jor belts to choose from.These belts also work great for bike-joring as well. Deluxe...(purple in photo). The most form fitting of the three. Padded with our own fabric we call durafoam, which is foam laminated to cordura nylon. Comes with adjustable waist belt, leg loops and adjustable rings sewn at the sides to attach to your ski-jor line. Also has rings on side for attaching a pulk / sled. Available only in black or red. Price--DSJB $ 54.00 Standard...(black in photo). New in the fall of '98. Durafoam wrapped around a layer of volara foam to provide a more streamlined fit, cooler to wear on warm days. Comes with adjustable waist belt, leg loops and adjustable rings sewn at the sides. Also includes small belt pouch for those must have items. Also has rings on side for attaching a pulk / sled. Sled Bags A sled bag is more than just a large duffel, whether you're racing in the Yukon Quest or Iditarod, of just heading out on another month - long trip across the high Arctic, it really helps to be organized. These bags are ALL custom built to your measurements with all the features that you may want or need. We have a form with all the standard features as well as "how to measure". We are very flexible on the features that you may want, tell us what your looking for and we'll help you materialize your perfect sled bag. Mostly the bags are made from Cordura, but a lighter version out of packcloth is becoming popular as well. Other fabrics are available, the lighter you go , the shorter the life of the bag. You also have choices on types of closures on the main bag, Velcro flaps or Zips. There is a lot of info on this form, so it is still better to contact us and we will mail or fax a copy, thanks...

Dog Booties These are a must have item. Distance mushers with have them in the 1000's, weekend mushers should have at least twice the number of booties to doggie paws they have in their team. Different fabrics work in different locations, but polartec 300 seams to work pretty well all around, a velcro closure near the top secures the bootie to the dogs foot. The booties are used to protect the dogs feet from ice and rough conditions. Cordura is also available. You should expect to get around 50 to 75 miles per bootie depending on conditions, this mileage will go down in extremely rough conditions. Bootie sizes xsmall....3"w x 4.75" tall small......3.5"w x 5" tall medium...4"w x 5.5" tall large.......5"w x 5.75" tall xlarge.....5.25"w x 6.25"tall generally, no color choice. Dog Blankets - teat guards These items are used for warmth of your dogs in cold / windy areas. Adjustable waist and neck for good fit. Blankets are made from Ultrex and Polartec 300, teet guards are from PT 300. Sled Toasties These items are to add warmth to your mitts while driving your team across the high Arctic or where ever your travels take you. They attach to the handlebars of your sled. Distance Toasties are insulated with Quallofil, Sprint Toasties are insulated with pile, the shell on both are cordura, with velcro closure. Distance Toasties shown in photo.
